Satyamev Jayate....

Aamir rocks and until yesterday morning only his fans could say that… But that picture has definitely changed … Aamir rocks… and from now on he commands immense respect… Makes me think what has changed so much… To assume that the format of the show was new… no it wasn’t… To assume we didn’t knew about the topic being discussed yesterday… no it wasn’t… That a superstar was talking about social issues for the first time… no it wasn’t… But to say that yesterday he was a common man and not a superstar will not be an exaggeration… Commercially speaking… he was to the point… care was taken that the focus should be on the issue and not Aamir… and enough research to ensure that facts and figures were presented and it didn’t remain a program which preaches…. To take up such issues in primetime and make people think … was definitely a risk and it has paid off… But more importantly I feel this will surely awake some people… who were too busy, too ignorant… too arrogant to think that since it doesn’t concern me I shouldn’t be a part of it…. It will infuse new energy in people who are working for betterment of others…. Thanks to Aamir… for deciding to do “Satyamev Jayate”…. It can only be people like you who have the guts to use your star power for better … who love being able to change mindsets…. To create a shining new example…. And that I think what a people’s person should do…. Millions and millions of people idolize their stars…. It’s time the stars should give back something to the people who love them…. You have made that possible aamir…. I don’t know how many “culprits” will change their way… but I believe many would at least think twice before doing it… I was… I am… and I will remain a Aamir fan forever… now on altogether different level…. Hats Off to you…
